I've had a few cabs that did not have the holes drilled, but they did have a dimple where the hole was supposed to go. Made it real easy to drill out the hole since it was obvious where it needed to be and the bit didn't wander... :)

Does anyone remember who it was that had nice (NOS perhaps?) rear panels for the hard tops? They did not have the tops, just the rear panel with the sliding window. I have a pair or hard tops that have rust issues in the flanges where the rear panel bolts to the cab (tub) and to the top...

Other things to do to help reduce front tire wear are to crank up the air pressure and loose the winch... :) Lower inflation on the front increased wear a significant amount, the extra weight does but not enough to compensate (denpending on how much you use it and how big a save it was)...
