SEC12 on milemarker hydraulic winch plate.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Now just to get around to finding one at what I consider a reasonable price.

SEC12 on milemarker hydraulic winch plate.

So I got asked in a message if this mounting plate works with the A2 style brush guard. I would also like to know this before I go and spend $500 for that style brush guard in order to regain my teardrop shackles in the front (they just seem stronger to me than the D-ring type shackles that...

    Fuel pump part number

I've run across the same thing in the civilian world. One of the instructors for certification in my job worked for a company with an industrial certification, to teach people and certify them as either consumer or commercial level. He always made sure we had his phone number in case we needed...

    Fuel pump part number

Or I could continue to just give the part number every time someone asks "what part number do I need to buy this at NAPA/Oreillys/CutRate/CarQuest etc. Yes, you can find plenty of fuel pump part numbers by just searching the original part. That doesn't answer the question though of "what part...

    Fuel pump part number

Step 1: Look in the manual and find the part number. EDIT: if you right click your mouse anywhere on the page in the PDF, one of the options it brings up is "find" Using the "find" search function will greatly speed up finding whatever you are looking for, provided you know the correct term to...

    Fuel pump part number

Ken, Give me a little bit and I'll write up the procedure I just mentioned above with some pictures explaining the process so you'll have better luck in the future.

    Fuel pump part number

to be fair, converting from a part number in the TM to one you can pick up at NAPA can be a bit of a pain in the butt. Normally I have to take the NSN, go to PartTarget.com, then start going through the list of all part numbers that belong to that NSN. Sometimes you get lucky and the first part...

    Fuel pump part number

This is the one I'm using. Mine had to be ordered in from out of state, so likely that might happen to you as well. https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NNPB0223P

Need Advice For Humvee Top Removal

You mean the hard cover on the back? it's 320 lbs according to the manufacturer's website, so I imagine with 4 people it would be relatively easy to install/remove. overall height of 102" so you're at 8.5 feet tall. SPECIFICATIONS Cargo Bed Covers - HMMWV, Type I And JLTV Datasheet View...

    Model numbers and various options.

A0/A1 top speed in the book is 55mph. A2 top speed in the book is 78mph. ECV/REV top speed in the book is 70mph. Tires are all rated for 87mph (except the bias ply might be lower, but running those is kind of dumb as they haven't been used by the military in decades)

    Model numbers and various options.

every model comes with heat. The early ones the heat output sucks, but it's there. The only ones that came factory with aircon are the ECV/REV (most of them do, some ECV do not I believe). Built into the fenders and the dash. many of the M1123s had aircon added (RED DOT units with the huge...

    HMMWV Rebuild process

There really isn't an exact answer to this. My understanding is the rebuild facility has a set amount of money they are allowed to use to "rebuild" each truck. This usually means they'll put in a rebuilt engine/transmission, and replace all of the common wear items. Anything else that is...

    Help identifying part number

you can't find a separate part number because it's still part number 5 in the diagram. https://www.easternsurplus.net/PartDetails/5620/Left-Hand-LH-Body-Service-Cowl-Assembly

SEC12 on milemarker hydraulic winch plate.

Just felt I should mention again a couple highlights. The winch came with 4ga cables. Not saying this is good or bad, but it is what it is. Probably more than good enough considering the 12V winches come with 2ga and run at twice the amps. their remote uses some type of chinese plug that's...

SEC12 on milemarker hydraulic winch plate.

So an update: Between rain showers I was able to get some wires made up and installed. Running the positive cable from the battery box (through 300 amp breaker) along the top of the frame rail to the front of the truck. I removed the contactor assembly from the milemarker plastic covered box...

    Pulley squeak

I've never had difficulty with installing the serp belt. The idler on top on the driver's side that the belt runs underneath, I just push down/lean down with my hands on both sides of it, and that's enough to get it off that idler. After that it's just finding the next pulley it can slip off...

    Humvee lug nuts

To add to what Action said, if they are tightened down too far the studs can also get deformed along with the lug nuts. Easy way to check. Get a nut of the correct thread (not a locking type) and spin it on. If you can't spin it on relatively easily (and by that I mean at most using a short...

    M1152 400 Amp Alternator

That should only be when it's actually producing power to that load. The rest of the time it's just robbing the power needed to keep it spinning, plus a little more for the extra mass/electronics. If nothing else though, you're going to go through belts a lot faster with it, especially if you...

Part Number for M1123 Rear Coil Spring

there are also other options for springs. There is at least one person selling custom springs for these that give a MUCH smoother ride, and can do things like lift the truck a little or whatever else you want.
