You might also try cleaning those four wires at the bottom and at the top of the "card". That white crusty looking stuff will keep you from transmitting power correctly. Clean them - one at the time - then put some anti-oxidation paste on each contact. Do the same on those four at the top...

Yes. There is a neutral between High and Low on the Transfer Case. And like @NDT mentioned, possibly disconnect the linkage and shift the "TC" from low to neutral to high "by hand". Often times the seat or something like the floor pan can keep you from shifting.

I would say you didn't trash the carburetor by pressurizing your fuel tank. All that gas dumped into your oil pan naturally means you have to change the oil. Drain it and refill... I would imagine that it might be worth removing your plugs and squirting a few "pumps" of marvel mystery oil...

Nice truck... It might be worth your effort to download the TM's (Technical Manuals) for your New To You vehicle. Knowing how to start it is covered in the "Dash 10" book. It will save you a lot of parts (= cash) .

Well... Yeah, if you had known that it was 12v vs 24v you might have acted differently.
