Here is a link to another thread that has the quick reference spreadsheet for the M35 model trucks, obviously you're only going to use it for filters, belts, things like that. If you need references for wheel studs or parts like such, look up 5 ton quick reference spread sheet here on the site...
You can reuse the head studs as long as none of them appear to have any cracks, coolant leaks, or bad threads. Usually it's a good idea to change the head bolts when you do a head gasket on any vehicle, but you can reuse them and be fine, many have done it myself included and did not have...
Are you wanting to plate it like a normal vehicle? If so, it might be conflicting with state laws due to weight and thus cannot be done at the DMV alone without paying for commercial plates. You can also look into log farm or historical plates depending on what your intentions with the truck...
Have you treated it with anything for the algae? That stuff will line your fuel lines and everything. That is probably what is causing the pressure issues as you said it started great and then over time it would take longer eventually leading to using starter fluid. I wouldn't be surprised if...
When you changed the filters and stuff, did it look like there was any algae in there or in the tank? A small amount of that stuff can wreak havoc in the fuel system as it will get into everything.
Added a dummy grenade on the shifter. I made what I have work, but I used a welding rod and the deuce batteries to weld a nut that for the shifters size and thread pitch to the bottom of the grenade. I added another nut as a jam nut so the grenade was in a comfortable position. Painted it with...

Hopefully this answers your questions for you. I don't think the head studs were different between the ldt or the lds since it's essentially the same engine. Disregard my post if your M54 does not have the multifuel.
I think that looks awesome! For a wrecker, having plenty of lighting is a must! I went cheap with Amazon lights, but I found that the BigLion brand to be pretty good and those are decently priced. I was pissed when they discontinued their flood work lights, those were only $40 for the pair and...
Exterior oil leaks from the head gasket is typically normal. The old style has tabs that allow for seepage. If you're ordering a new gasket, check out SECO for the set, I bought a set earlier this year at $60/EA which was much cheaper than anyone else, just took about week or so with shipping...
Another idea, buy the cheap tarps, cut them in half, use a little tape to stop the fray and put a bungee or two on each tire to keep it there. I forgot, but my grandparents did that with their rv when it was not in use.
I also suggest the fire pit cover. Another thing I'd add is to use some rubber conditioner to help protect the tires further. I use aircraft rubber conditioner I found on Amazon and it leaves a matte finish, no shine so the tire looks like it's brand new.
