Hello All,I am getting ready to restore my M274A5 and I have decided to do the MERDC paint scheme vs the usual 24087/USMC green colors. I know Lance Miller did many of his mules in winter MERDC, does anyone have photos of mules in the other MERDC color schemes? I am trying to nail down which...
The guy Phil is referring to is Martin Cox. He is on here, but he sold his vehicle. There is a nice FV101 Scorpion for sale at the Virginia Museum of Military Vehicles if you are looking to buy.
Is it possible to get a HMMWV Hot Rodding forum since there is already one for the Deuce, 5 ton, and CUCV? it is obvious a large part of threads will be on the topic.

I am considering a replacement for our venerable M915 (w/ 7155 CAT) that has slightly more comfort but maintains the speed of the original M915. From my research the M916A1 and M915A2 will not fit the bill in terms of speed, what about the M915A4 or M916A3?
Thanks.

You must love hard to find parts, overwidth permits to just go down the road, and 45 mph tops. But they are cool trucks. Dirt71 on here has some good restoration threads.
Sounds like your truck was a converted gasser. Have any photos of the dataplates? The original gassers had the dual low mount exhausts like your truck. Yours may not be an A1C because those were factory built by CONDEC as diesels if I recall correctly.
