We moved this rig back into the main building to continue the progress. Radiator and fuel system components are on order and the seats are dropped off at the upholstery shop.

I have to agree...I have lots of parts directly related to these vehicles that I have no intention of selling. However, if I've been following a project on here and see where someone is stuck and needs a part that I have to get moving again, I am a lot more likely to offer a helping hand...

The Spicer number on the rubber cushion is 230658. Any help in locating one is appreciated

Here’s what the new bumpers with bolt-on stainless mounts look like compared to the OEM weld-on brackets, along with the new stainless steel support bearing for the steering gear output shaft as compared to the OEM steel bearing.

There are different grades of stainless fasteners, and some I use are comparable to grade 8...they're expensive, but available. Some non-stainless fasteners I use are grade 8 or grade 9 because of the strength requirements. And yes I know about the anti-seize precaution...as a matter of fact, it...

I ordered some stainless steel nylon lock jam nuts and flat washers to replace the plated steel ones. Also I rarely use an impact wrench and when I do, it's usually for disassembly.

Here’s the rear axle installed, now I’m waiting on the stainless steel hardware for the Monroe Gas Magnum shocks. The leaf springs were individually powder coated and all hardware was replaced with stainless steel.

Here’s the improved clamp plate made from one piece T304 stainless steel that secures the axles to the leaf springs…the original ones (made from six pieces of mild steel) would have worked, but like most mil spec stuff, I didn't care too much for the way they looked :lol:

Here's a before and after pic of the axles. After sandblasting, epoxy priming and a finish coat of automotive urethane, the complete overhaul included larger axles, disc brakes, new bearings, bushings and seals, lockouts, Detroit lockers and a few other items.

I know a lot of agencies are getting new Lenco vehicles with all the grant money that seems to be falling from the heavens, and are getting rid of their older stuff...some of it is being sold, and some is being turned back to DRMO. A friend of mine described a V150 that someone he knew just...
