    Today pulled the rocker boxes and the pan found the other ring still in the pan . these are the only two parts found .the top end is all where it should be nothing missing . is this what holds the wrist pin to the piston ? there was no other metal in the pan .

    the ring was just larger then the drain plug hole in the pan so it out of shape from puling it out when I pulled the other ring it came out but was not found . thank you for the help Kenny

    no water in the oil or milky oil on the filler cap . it is about as thick as a nickel and flat I though it was some kind of a snap ring . the bright mark was caused by rubbing some thing

    Breaking Down Tires

    I pulled this tire and wheel out of storage and started to let the air out to take it apart and noticed the ring not seated by the valve stem .the tire had 35psi . This tire could come apart at any time .

    I marked the winch drum and the in put shaft .turning the in put by hand 8 turns moves the drum 1/4 of the way a round = 32 to 1 hope this helps kenny

    Let us know how big of a press it takes to press them in I have spent enough on having a shop press the old ones out and put the new ones in I could have a really big press of my own . I think the bushing to push them out needs to be close to 4 1/16 in diameter . kenny

    I cleaned off all the surfaces and used some rubber cement to help hold it together next time I will try weather stripping adhesive it should hold better then the rubber cement . kenny
