vac valve on the side of the IP... Vac mod on the side of the tranny and a bad Vac pump on top of the bell housing.. and also replace all rubber vacuum lines.. can all cause deleayed shifting.. Have you tryed shifting it to 3rd at speeds higher then 30MPH?..
try the cheep way befor droping...
Don't load the M101A3 with it's max load and when you go up the mountain keep your engine RPMS up high to keep the water moving this means down shifting after you lose speed.. you wont be going fast prob 25- 35 mphs..Also dont force the engine to more work then need'ed because it wont. this...
TP-35 or 40 depends on your tires on your fenders... Deisel fuel only on the fuel flap door .. on a side note I put Max Veh speed 55 on the back of my cucv so i dont get run over oddley enough after I put that on people stoped fliping me off)....
I need to find a column shifter mine has rust on it and I want to replace it. I tryed google looked on 5 diffent auto parts websites and also ebay no luck.. also searched the fourms I can clean the rust off but the rust has left rust pits on the metal.
on a side note I checked mine today... for a m1009 with 75k miles on it my blancer front ring looks ok... no cracks How do you inspect the back for cracks without taking it off? little angle mirror?
Had this issue a year ago replaced the real axle and replaced the springs but the problem has't gone away could it be the spring hangers? and how do you test that?
yep just checked TUB data plate is missing also the tiedown and lift data plate
M101A2 is better for a M1009 because of the rims and tires you can change em out if need be and also the ride height.
ya but Doghead on the SF-97 shouldI put M101A2?? thats on the invoice ( had to enter this to title it) or just say beep it and do the M101A3? and what about the year?
OK guys just got it home it rides sweet has a drop down axle with Humvee tires and combat rims... GL put the M101A2 off the rust Proof tag but the aka real data plate said 1-Ton-2W- M116A3 guess the U.S. army made a M116A3 to a M101A3 .....aua
