if you're running civy tires we usually put 90 in the fronts and 100 in the rears, but i'm talking gravel hauling . if you're talking empty, i'd run 80 lds all around.
no question is stupid, if you learn from the answer. i know where spedmon is coming from. i had a juicy article all printed, but i said NAH , thats to mean. i've been in all kinds of construction equip. since 1965, and the first thing i do is look for the operators manual. if you don't...
my buddie has hauled half a dozen deuces on his 4 axel tag trl. behind his F-350 , but fri. the 13th, last week was the last time. he just bought a deuce for $1500.00 and was heading home on the bigroad,he was only doing about 45 mph, he thinks a tire blew,on the trl. he felt it sway to the...
thats whats nice about having a winch on the truck. if the pump gives out you can just lift the plow with the winch.or if you break something you just pick the thing up with the winch and head for the garage.
the FIRST thing to do is check the pressure in the tires. then look for a bad tire. my 5 ton did that when i first got it.one tire was 40 lds and the other was 55 lds. put both up to 65 lds and that cured the wobble. good luck
i ran push arms back to the axel u-bolts. 2x2x1/4 square tubing. course i'm pushing a giant 11 foot 5 foot wing 1800 ld plow on my 5 ton.the plow frame itself weighs an impressive 450 lds.real pain taking it off for the summer, and putting it back on in nov. but it helps pay the ins. happy...

there used to be a place in norforlk,ma. but the powers to be finally shut him down. i here he's got a place out somewhere near fitchburgh or around rte. 2 out there . i sure miss his place. real nice guy too.
how many times we gonna go thru this? the sprag works in all gears . i plow in the winter and usually take off in 2nd gear. pushing up intersections i go from reverse to 2nd over and over.going up hills if i tend to spin the front will kick in and pull. if you hear the sneeze whenever you hit...
yes, the blackout will give just enough light to let you see a shadow pass in front of you. i think it's like 3 to5 feet. of course it's only for driving like 5 miles an hour, so you can stop quick.
some wheels are hub pilot wheels which fit tight on the hub, keeping the wheel centered and supporting the weight. some wheels are stud pilot wheels which the studs support the weight and keep the wheel centered.if you're wheels stud holes are beveled they are stud pilot wheels. if the hole is...
the fuel burning one is the way to go. i've got 3 20K btu heaters in my 5 ton and when it's 10 degrees it is COLD. i've got the winter front and put in 195 degree thermostats and it is still cold in that girl. i've even got a propane tent stove on the floor on the right side. with all that heat...
