No AC. No CTIS. Its a fine threaded cap for something. I'm going to have to get under the truck tomorrow and probe around. I've been working on converting to a 4 man and just happened to look under the front of the truck as I was picking up tools.
I can't find where this goes. I found it under my laying under front of my truck. Any suggestions? Power steering or trans, as it has pink fluid. Nothing leaking that I see.
I've looked through all the topics on Indiana titles but have only found reference to 5 tons and older than 25 year old military trucks. Has anyone applied for a title in Indiana for a HMMWV with just a bill of sale and inspection? Thanks for any help.
I filled it up with removing the brass screw on top, but after running for a while it started pouring out the top. So I assume you fill it without truck running.
I've tried reading everywhere about filling of the power steering reservoir. Every TM I've read shows the power steering pump attached to the front of the truck. I unscrewed the top brass fitting and filled to the glass site on side. Is this the correct way to fill it?
Thank you! I've worked on gas motors since 16, so this diesel stuff was something new. I dumped about 5 gallons of California dirt in my front yard just from the fan shroud!
It wasn't a bad buy for $7900 plus all the fees. $9842 out the door.
I did see a 2004 M1151 that was identical to mine with 40 miles in running condition for 11,900 two weeks ago. I would have rather paid the difference to have a turbo and a runner.
The cost of the new injection pump plus...
The key got sheared because the yahoos at govplanet kept trying to get it started. The shaft on the pump is so frozen I couldn't move it with two pipe wrenches. At least it's set up to shear.
Now I can finally deep clean this Yermo time capsule!
Thank you everyone. She's running great. Idle a little high, adjusting throttle now.

Took apart and cleaned. Pulled c clip and carb cleaned all parts. Used compressed air and it blows air through. But not blowing through with my breath. Should I eliminate or just put back?
