    M1078 - M1083 Cab Air Suspension Bags/

did you read them? Though rules on them are different than many discussions sites..... they do sorta allow it with some caveats. Hence why was suggesting reading them. Apologize if I overstated it. near bottom of the rules page is the material to review...

    LMTV/MV Safety Improvements

For camper am using one from Ambulance because the boxes construction will give cab some protection. Ambo Boxes... ESPECIALLY the high dollar ones of at least 90 to early 2000's.. maybe older; which I was lucky to obtain, are stronger than any expedition box out there. From the pics I've seen...

is that an air heater or a coolant heater with heater coil to blow heat out? Just some out of the box thinking if it was coolant... . one could suck some of the heat out before the heater coil by heating a hot water tank, and/or a thermal battery (wood stove bricks) for use as instant hot...

Alternate Side mirrors for more narrow stance

any mirror would catch on something. I think these would more liable to be knocked inward though and not outward in most situations???

actually putting it outside is unnecessary cause its fumes are already plumbed outside with proper installation while LP heaters do NOT pipe any combustion outside. Am in agreement with you..... the diesel ones are safer when considering the overall picture.

Alternate Side mirrors for more narrow stance

This yellow truck's mirrors look like any other mirror on newish-ish medium trucks... but if you look closer you see with them being well in front..... this gives the truck a much overall narrowed stance. just thought someone might find it interesting

New M-1083 owner. So, here we go!!

@Suprman which of the CTIS in the MTV family had CTIS control boxes that were typically preset to higher pressures than the rest of the others? Was/is it particular sub models for heavier tasks... if so which ones??

New M-1083 owner. So, here we go!!

Think the MTV are programmed higher for HWY than the LMTV already so the starting point prior to the doubling is higher. Though you may have accounted for that in your numbers.

maybe lube/renew the rubber duck bills and any other rubber you can in the system a little with MOTHERS and they may not squeak as much/last longer Im not sure if Will ( @Suprman ) can program them different than what you have. Under impression there are two choices in programming and that...

New M-1083 owner. So, here we go!!

there is a thread on here you can probably find about changing the transducer to a higher pressure one? This will up the pressure on all default settings of CTIS. It is located under the power panes. Some folk have also done an air solenoid to switch between the OEM transducer and the...

this is what lends me to believe the space above it is open and tank can be lifted out for filling. but hard to say. close inspection of pic looks like on right side there is a latch. Wonder if that spot was formerly an undercarriage spare tire area... hence why not so concerned if it hangs...

diesel would not go bang.... it is harder to ignite via spark. only way I can think of (if they owner has a brain) that he feels this is not as huge an issue as folk are making it..... is if above the tank is either a floating trap door w/nothing above it or its inside a cupboard with...
