    Air Conditioning a Deuce

Now that I have the front end of the engine accessible, it is time to mount the compressor. I removed the small, L-shaped bracket to mount the clevis for the radiator support and the lift ring form the front of the cylinder head. In the photo, you will see I numbered the bolt holes 1, 2, & 3...

    Air Conditioning a Deuce

I have seen a number of posts lately regarding members purchasing a/c kits for their Deuce. I bought my Deuce in October, 2010 and purchased a new a/c unit from AUTOCAR in California, and had him ship to me here in Florida. It was a brand new unit and sat in the crate until this past March...

    Inexpensive Wheel Seal Installer

So sorry... I would not copy someone's elses idea intentionally or otherwise. Great minds just think alike. Since there are so many mambers with so many posts, and I was not flipping hubs, I would have not seen your post. Please accept my sincere apology.

I will get a price from the company. I have them in Black letters with a yellow background or black letters with a clear background. I can put them on the "Parts for Sale" in the classified.

    Slowing Down A Fuel Thief

Zout, I remeber those days well! I worked for Hess Oil at their tank farm in Baltimore. Auto repair shops all over town were flooded with cars and trucks needing holes patched or fuel tanks replaced. A real mess.

    Slowing Down A Fuel Thief

It is a sticker. I had a local sign shop make them.

    Slowing Down A Fuel Thief

Although the warning sticker may not prevent fuel theft, it was my intention to slow down someone thinking about it. With my luck, I would get someone who can't read!

    Slowing Down A Fuel Thief

I had 2 of these made. One is on the lower right corner of the driver's door and the other on the side of the fuel tank. In addition to a lock on my fuel tank cap, I thought this might make a fuel thief think twice!

    Inexpensive Wheel Seal Installer

Here is my first stab at posting pictures and a tip on the site. I just finished replacing all the steel and rubber brake lines, M/C, Air Pack, wheel cylinders, wheel seals and re-packed the bearings. Following the extensive, " how to replace the seals" thread, and the potential for...

    Danger zone!

Although the 5 ton is twice the size, everything else seems to cost 4 times more than it does for the deuce! If the $ is not a big problem, they are sure great to have and fun to drive.

    in a bad way!

I vote for a clogged filter or a clogged pickup in the tank pump, especially if the tank has not been filled for a while, and you filled it up. When did you last change the fuel filters? 2cents
