I had a project where I wanted to match the 2-1/2" hat channels on a generator trailer. Could not find hat channels anywhere but I did find some 2-1/2" square x 1/4" thick aluminum tube in .... Salt Lake City......http://metalremnants.com/ . Was not particularly cheap, but they had something...
Anyone know what those chassis trailers are designed for? The generator trailers I bought had the front light boxes lowered so deck was flat. Rear lights were in the wheel fenders. Nice trailer.....collection!!
I overfilled my tank once and ended up with a puddle dribbling out of the fuel tank compartment and into the motor area. If your fuel tank was full and you tilted it for more than a few seconds that may be your leak source.
On an 802 (more vibration than an 803) I had a leak on the valve...
Wonder if "Motor Guard DD1008-2 Mini Desiccant Filter, 2-Pack" would work as a desiccant breather? $16 for 2 at Amazon. However, they are designed as a paint sprayer filter / water / oil remover. 1/4" NPT connections.
We used something like this for breathers on extruder gear boxes where I used to work. https://www.agmcontainer.com/drum-vent-dryer
The plastic housing for the dessicant had a 3/4" pipe thread molded into it that made connection quite easy.
I received my pair of Jerry can adapters the other day and they are NICE!! Thanks Uniquify for letting us know about them. Super fast shipping from LMS Litchfield, too.
You are from GA. 2 trips in the truck should work. That said, I was surprised to see a UPS tractor pulling 3 trailers in OH a couple weeks ago. I have seen doubles, but the triple surprised me.
I think you are good to go. My MEP-803A has the Electroswitch 31907LW installed. I never noticed that it was a 7 position switch in a 6 position mount, but it is. NSN searches show it as used in an 804A but appears to be used in many others.
Switch Search...
Some gauges have lights in them some do not. You will need to investigate the details of the particular gauge. In my experience (802 & 803) the light you need will be 24 volts like the gauges. My Faria gauges had the lights in the gauges, just not used. My Datcon gauges did not have a light...

Good discussion on grounding your generator and the SINGLE ground to neutral bond in your home's electrical system.
Last picture, lower right side: the bonding strap is still in place between the generator's...
I've used this outfit for fittings to assemble fuel lines. https://www.discounthydraulichose.com/product_p/3-05545.htm
Kind of a pain in the rear to wade through their search results, though.
This is a VERY old thread........From the big auction site......GMG at around $99....hope you can find another vendor.
Ambac M50 Fuel Injection Pump Gasket Rebuild Kit for 50-2/4A-80A-9540A, KT85166, Onan 147-0308
Ambac M50 Fuel Injection Pump gasket rebuild kit for the injection pump used...
I love that transport unit: looks like the generator just about filled it up!!! And I think it's too clean a unit to paint. The thing looks brand new....surprised it's a '96. More surprised that Generac doesn't have the specific documents for it on their website. Post pics when you get it...
I corrected my earlier post's attachment: you may have a generac industrial SD015/2.4L/15kW generator. Can't find diddly for it but they have a similar model...the RD01523 that has a lot of info here...
Looks like this one, but control panel is different.....OK: second try. It looks like the Generac Industrial Diesel SD015/2.4L/15kW unit shown in attached file.
