    Trailering a M37

I'm looking for a pintle hitch and from what I understand about flat towing the M37, don't you need to remove the rear drive shaft?

    Trailering a M37

OK all- I believe in the 6 "P"s.... if you know you know.... I'm pretty sure in the future there will be a time I want to bring both the 5 ton and M37 on a trip and don't want to be limited by the top speed of the M37 on the interstate.... (Let's say I'm setting the 5 ton up as a campsite and...

    My first multifuel?

First suggestion (as someone who has recovered MVs from the current state of yours): Long pants and a weedeater! Here was my M37 when I first saw her... On a serious note, clear all of the growth as much as you can before trying to move her... you have no idea what's under and inside...

    New to me M923A2

I cannot agree with this statement any more!!!! Drove my deuce all over Louisiana and Texas, thought it wasn't too bad even though after 8 or nine hours I couldn't walk right.... Drive my 5 ton from the house to north of Marshall, Texas to camp (about 4 hours) and biggest problem was dealing...

Newbie here looking at a 1970 M35A2 have some questions

Welcome to the site! This is a veritable clearinghouse of knowledge and there are some pretty sharp cookies here. I owned a 1969 M35A2 and it would pop out of gear. it wasn't long afterward I lost the top gear and had to replace the transmission. It's not a hard task, but as stated, in my...

Steel Soldiers MV of the month 2022 - January VOTE HERE!

Thanks for the input. I was well aware of the pressures involved and he only inflated for about a minute on each tire. It was his way of helping. I've seen the videos of the tires erupting and wouldn't put him in that position. Thanks again bud.

Operation: Ethel. Kendelrios M37 (re)build thread

And so it continues... I found a solid cab, fenders and bed and headlights to replace the ones I have that have a touch (or more) of cancer and will be picking them up when I get in from offshore. To prepare for swapping the bed out, I started removing the sides today. I know it's "easier" to...

Operation: Ethel. Kendelrios M37 (re)build thread

Also during the process I found out that the original vacuum operated wipers had been swapped for electric at some point. Brilliant design on the hollow bolt/vacuum channel! Question for opinions: Better to have the vacuum operated wipers or electric?

Operation: Ethel. Kendelrios M37 (re)build thread

The weather cooperated and I was able to get some things done. Removed the rearview mirrors, windshield, doors, rear fenders, troop seats and hood. In the process of getting under the dash to take off the windshield/vacuum tube for the wipers, I found the cowl vent has been bondoed over! 😳...
