The one ontherear of the cab is controlled by the beacon switch on the dashboard. I don't remember though if its 12 or 24 volt. Been a while since I played with it.

In your signature you list both a M1078 and a M931. Do you go off road with both? Would you mind sharing some of your thoughts on how the two compare as far as off road capability in addition to what's already been mentioned?
I don't drive the 931's much. Just wanted one and ended up with two...
I own an MK48 and wouldn't recommend it at all, i do not believe it wouldbe stable. But i am no expert. I do have some ofte Oshkosh tow bars for the MK, they are the heavy square ones. If he does do it, get video!
It will probably need to put on the trailer as well. I checked it out during a recovery a while back and was told it had "electrical issues". He said it would start and as soon as you attach te slave cable everything lights up and comes on even with the switch off. I don't know if this helps you...
Even when I do "remember me" and I'm typing something lengthy it will not let me post it from taking to long. That is on an iPad. Don't know if that helps or not?
