Thanks.
Dragonbyte's forum search engine was returning nothing of value in here. And the only things I could find on the web were Cummins discussions about using the diagnostic tools/software to change the actual shift points. And of course you can't locate anyting in the TM unless you...
What's the keypad sequence/procedure to force the transmission to "relearn"?
A guy was asking on FB and I thought I had it in my notes, but I don't. I've searched high and low on the Internet and can't find it. Cruising thru the TM's has given me a headache.
I give up, thus asking here....
So much THIS ^
Even with my A1R and 260a alt, I'm only running dual batteries (the other pair is for the habitat and charge via shore power).
Now if your truck is a daily driver operating above the arctic circle, then the extra cranking amps are needed. But S&S really screwed the design...
Thanks, I thought I'd seen a re-do of it somewhere.
My controller would appear to be bricked and I'm not going to spend $$$$ going back to the OEM just to have it ever happen again.
I need to do either a manual or an Arduino and I'm leaning manual if I can sort out what I need to get how to...
First guess would be a bad controller.
The valves, etc are all used in the various modes. If only one mode is out and the others function, I'd say the controller is fubar.
You have options:
1) Replace with used (keep in mind these things all fail at a certain point like the one you have and...
Just $5 drawer sides from Lowes and pop latches.
For the kitchen pull-out workspace and the keyboard/mouse tray I may change to the latching type so they don't slide open in transit. But a simple drop-in retainer pin may work for a lot cheaper. For now they also just have the $5 Lowes sliders.
Good point. People are always missing those on their trucks.
Alternatively, the solid rubber shock cord and hooks can be purchased on Amazon for pennies a foot. And the "H" retainers can be made by welding two pieces of c-channel together.
Just sayin'
Ah, I never realized that. Toss them on eBay?
Or you if you're on FB you can join some of those groups

People look for them from time-to-time. Mostly because the uprights are missing from a truck they purchased or a seat is missing/broken.
It will be someone with a 6x6 FMTV bed.
So sure, toss them up on classifieds here, eBay, and post the links here. Folks will share them with the Facebook...
The NSN comes back as the seat kit for the M1157 dump truck. So they'd be for the 6x6 MTV trucks I bet.

Another things I take with me is this. It was a gift about 10 years ago and I figured I'd never really use it.
But it can make coffee, it can make iced coffee, it can make smoothies, it can make Margaritas. etc. It's two appliances in one (blender and coffee maker) and it's really small. It...
