One little quirk with mine. It always beeps "Food Burn" two minutes before the cooking is done. No matter what mode, temp, or cooking duration. It's more of a "two minute warning" in my case. I don't know if it's glitched or what, but it's never affected anything. It did it the first time...
Admittedly, I've not unboxed mine. But the 20qt Omni "toaster" version I got for the truck is really the same exact thing as the 10qt Vortex (just no rotisserie). It has all the same capabilities.
The little Vortex uses 1500w, the Omni uses 1800w.
Yep, but look over some batter recipes. I've yet to find anything frozen that didn't fry up just like in a real fryer. My rule of thumb is that if it can be cooked in an oven, it can be air fried. Frozen onion rings, frozen fried jalapenos, frozen fries, frozen fried pickles or green beans...
This is the one I use at the house. I cook everything that needs to go in an oven or a fryer in this thing (except pizzas). It's gone with me to the beach many times.

Everyone with experience says that.
Honestly, I have more storage already than I actually use in my house. I'm still trying to imagine what I'm going to put in four chester drawers (I don't even use two at home). Hanging closet consist of a couple jackets and a dozen t-shirts. A place for...
Sell them on FB.
"100% tread"
Just ignore any questions about date codes.
That's what most people do.
;p
Yeah, I send those to the dump before they kill someone...
Being an old IT guy, I can't use a desk that doesn't have a keyboard/mouse shelf. While the only PC that will be in the truck is a laptop, I still use a full-sized kb/m. Eventually I'll be doing some drone photography (and kite aerial photography) as well as video editing and a comfy...
The kicker is legally replacing all is only currently allowed by the use of the one product (MirrorEye).
As GEO said, you could get away with a small mirror and still be in accordance with most states.
Beyond that, the camera thing has been done a lot (a couple builds here on SS have set them...
Thanks.
I looked at various ways of doing it (tilt up the bed to expose storage, drawers, etc). I stowed a lot of gear in army footlockers while I was testing various floorplans and layouts. They worked really well, so I went with this. I designed this so that three can fit under the bed...
" The exemption applies exclusively to the Orlaco MirrorEye system, making it the only camera-monitoring system in the aftermarket " is the key phrase here.
They are getting rich I bet, being the sole product maker.
I know I can't afford them...
The problem with making your own is it then becomes DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) issue. Will it work, sure. Is it legal on the highway? That's up to DOT/FMCSA (they mandate what can be used).
It's like me running sand paddles on my dune car going down the...
Yeah, as I said the EU stuff is priced like it was gold and carbon fiber.
Meanwhile in the US....
Window - $196
Curtain - $11

Spot on. Four years ago I was partying out there a lot. They loved to wave me down and ask to use the LMTV as a DJ booth (one reason I wanted the M1082 trailer, so I could just leave it if I needed to go to town or make a beer run).
But the entire scene changed somehow right after that point.
Actually, I avoid Port-A during Spring Break like the plague.
I used to go and party on the beach all night back in the day. But as the years went by, the crowd shifted more and more to little high school age bangers from San Antonio. Most are minors and have no fear of law enforcement or...
I've always cranked down the bolts on the OEM mirrors. Mine don't budge unless they encounter a solid object. I can still tuck them in on the rare occasion that I need additional clearance, but it takes a lot of pulling to do so. Torque those suckers down (replace the bolt, sping, washer if...
