I think it means if they were sold by the USG outside the US they would need to be scrapped. But if bought in the US and then exported you might not have a problem as I have heard one of the dealers exported a few recently. I am not a Lawyer, info is for reference only.
On thing to consider about the DROPS is, how easy is it to get basic parts for if you break down (filters, lines, etc)? For other parts, are the only available in England and you need to import?
Atleast most HEMTT/PLS parts are available in the US and if you break down, NAPA, truck stops, etc...
I don't know about letting the truck cool down, but it is always a good idea to let a turbocharger equipped vehicle idle for 5-10 minutes after use to prevent turbo damage.
Hint: If it is a M274A5 and has 4WS, it has been converted.
You may also want to check out the G503 Mule forum as there seems to be more technical guys over there.
The XM211 was the pre-standardized designation. It is the same as a M211, only it was made before a certain date when the truck was "standardized". Other example is can think of are the XM135/M135, XM818/M818, T114/M114, and there are probably others too.
No and if I was, I wouldn't admit it :D It seemed like they had it listed over 5 times. Did you get any of the flatracks they had on GL a few months back?
