Yeah I agree. They need to loose their attitudes. I can easily not bring any display items and bring my car next time. Nicer ride anyway driving 300+ miles.
It would help if you told us what exactly you have for a cucv. Why are you de-tuning it? If it's under 1k egt you are fine. 4-500 is where mine is at 65. 4-5 lbs of boost in my m1008
Those high idle switches very rarely need to be replaced, but They may need to be repaired if that helps. There are a bunch of threads on repairing them. They are simple to repair.
