    M108 deuce wrecker engine swap

It is funny that you say this because EVERY bolt hole that is a exerting hole on BART is over size, allowing for a lot of wiggle room, depending on what my new holes were for weather I did as the military or had them dead on.

    M923A2 fumoto oil drain plug

The drain valve "looks" nice, BUT one piece of heavy trash that gets run over on the highway and gets flung up and hits the drain valve and even just cracks it let alone knocking it off, when the oil pressure drops out of sight WILL be the first indication of something is wrong, the knock will...

    Newbie questions regarding brake work

The ONE big thing to remember, is the the deuce was built so it can be worked on, using 50s standards, meaning that with a decent set of tools and the tms, there is NOTHING on a deuce that YOU can not fix, we are talking about 18 year old military wrench turners that did not know what a ratchet...

Urgent need of tow bar! My Deuce is broke near Seguin, Texas.

How about pulling the busted driveshaft and using front wheel drive to get you home unless it was the jack shaft between the trans and the transfer, then a tow is a done deal.

    DeSpline Questions

With the 939s, the axle is not flopping around EXCEPT if you forget and engage the front drive, maybe come up with a safety cap that goes over the dash air switch like the safety cover the can go over a toggle on a toggle switch.

    DeSpline Questions

Depending on what 5t, a 939 would be a lot different then a 39/809 series, the 5t spindle has only one axle bushing, this is towards the rear of the spindle, the outer end is supported by the hub cap, on a 939, this will not be a issue BUT on the 39/809 series this will be a issue, the sprag...

    Kingpin Bushings

Just a thought, the bushing may need to be reamed, years a go, many, many, I got kingpin/bushing kits from ford for my 59 pu, in the instructions it called for a "ream to fit" and gave the rotation needed pull using a string and spring scale.

Grainger, but I just go to truck shops, take a lenses with me, if it fits even close, works for me, as long as no light is showing at the dash/lenses seam, the square rings are used on a lot of filters, some garden hose ends use a square O ring, these also fit, to me the end result is what...

    M1070 Tech & Tips

It seems that one of the weak spots in the m1070 electrical system is the bank of circut breakers right there just to the right of the driver , on the edge of the dog house, out of 5 trucks that I have dealt with, 3 had/have circut breaker issues, I think it is just sticking circut breakers...
