Eric the 3 I have are left (lhfe14751) and weight just over 3pounds each . I found a forth one but it is not turning and I started soaking it so I may have 4 all together thanks kenny
I had the same thing happen I was able to free them up by soaking them in kroil for a few days and I was able to get them working . I will see if I have some on my parts truck that are good and let you know kenny
Ron I have a bed off of my 1953 m211 with all the bolts and wood that lays on the frame and the springs that go on the bolts the tail gate could use some work but it opens and closes . the manual I have I bought from Memphis equipment (901-774-0600) for about $50 and it covers so much about the...
nice picture it looks like the canvas top is on and there is a brace from the sides of the wind sheld frame to the side covers behind the hood I have not seen these before ? the truck I have was made just after the war and the windshild is fine with out any other support . any thoughts on this ?
yes I think so . this one has a full cab. the pictures I have seen show some trucks with soft tops . I paid the owner for the truck and when he has the truck to the road I will go get it . the truck came with 10.22 tires I was going to take 11.20 with me but the brake drums may be to big for...
Wade heading west out of Durango on 160 turn left on wildcat canyon road it,s the first drive way you come to on the right . just past there house if you look up you can see a 1950,s m44 .I think it has a gas motor and some parts missing . what you can,t see is a GMC cckw with a water tank on...
near Durango colorado I found a White 666 that is for sale but the owner years ago mounted the doors from a diamond T and if I bought it I would need a cab and I,m sure other parts . so I,m looking to see what is out there for this truck . kenny
I found that silicone lube works and putting a hose on the exhaust and running it out under the canvas top makes it a lot quieter and keeps the lube off the windshild
Mo-mudder I have a parts truck I'm trying to give a way or at least strip it down more before hualing it off. it has a frount rear drive axle in it with a pig . you may find one closer cheaper then shipping this one . if you need other parts you may want to plan a trip and pick up what you need...
davesgmc I shipped your parts yesterday . I really like my trans mission with the REB I have no slip and shifts smooth I did buy a cckw in case it did not work out and I would swamp out the running gear .
RE: Engine oil
There is a drain on the torque convertor. in the 80s I used 10wt motor oil in the transmission of a m211 that what was in it when I bought it and then changed it out for ATF the truck shifted better with ATF the whole time I drove the truck it never had 4 gear . now I use only...
the REb kit can be instaled when the trans mission is in the truck .doing it when the trans mission is out would be easer . a few years ago I instaled a rebuilt trans mission in my truck from Memphis and tried for what seams like for ever to get all the linkages ajusted because every thing is...
I bought a transmission from Memphis Equipment a few years a go and have over 5000 miles on it and it works great . about $1000 . a year a go I bought a shift kit well worth the money and it helps save the tranmission by blocking out high reverse . and not hunting between gears .
the truck should be in all wheel drive in reverse .and engage the frount when the back axles start to slip .the shift rail on the transfer case can be ajusted a little but the linkage only has so much travel and when ajusted will pull it out to engage one way but then won't let the shift rail...
I talked to you in september at the truck show . and I have a bed off my m211 that I won't be needing .and a real short lowboy trailer that might be used as a project of some kind ?
