Now that's odd. The splined shaft was integral to my wiper motors, not a separate piece as indicated by your post.

@azulrios those look pretty corroded. I think they screw off. Soak them in penetrant and try to unscrew them with vise grips.

I noticed a bit of oil on the driver's inside spindle seal. I've ordered a minor repair kit from KASCAR and a locking hub nut kit from bluehummer.

@Inspector 1 I recently learned that there are "early" and "late" 10k axles. In order to upgrade to 12k, you need to replace the spur gear in the hubs and other things. It seems doubtful that someone would upgrade 3 axles to 12k along with the spur gears and other work, but not the last one...
