Thinking about mounting a 250 gallon propane tank to a trailer and use it....would a propane tank be ok to store diesel?? I have an old tank I might use.
That is how my 200a alternator sounded before had new bearings put in it, however it made no diff in neutral or gear.
I hear it, there is something there. Camo gave you great advice. Stethoscope and start investigating.
Wise words! And I know exactly when my hernia(s) got worse.....putting 53's on my M923a2 Rims. All to save $400. That is what it would cost to have the tire place come to my house and do it. Will be making better choices from now on.
I had mine on the 16th. It is the hernia where they cut me from belly button north about 5". I am extremely active with the trucks and on the land...almost OCD about getting things done daily. I was told 4 weeks for no lifting etc. And I do agree it will be at least that long. I assisted in...
Nice...i like the casters! I have even considered putting a small in ground tank next to it but unsure about the ability to draw the fuel up. I got some research to do before I get serious. Will probably put it off and next hurricane season wish I did it .
I am about to do the same thing but not a drum. Looks like shit and want to leave it near the generator house which is in view of the road. I had hernia surgery one week before this last storm and my wife and two girls were out there trying to lift the Scepter fuel cans to refuel. Have to figure...
Well, now with Hurricane Zeta.....back on the MEP. No power since last night and I smile every time I think about my MEP 803 out there keeping watch so we may be comfortable. It is in close proximity to the bedroom window. Makes for good sleep as most of you know..almost as good as in the back...
Those tarps get heavy in a damn hurry! If you go that route, USCargo may be a good solution and I think have free shipping.
Have you looked into just getting a H1 cover?
Sometimes we would augment the maintenance guys when we HAD to get vehicles back operational. The lines are 100% not prefilled (however you would do that) prior to Install.
Mine had the newer style turn signal assy. with cancelling ring....it stopped working due to alot of corrosion inside. Replaced it with the older style unit for $55 vs $350 and have not looked back.
It's the solenoid most likely. I left mine off. If you buy one, make sure it is the 24v one. The 12vdc solenoid looks pretty much the same. I have zero problems pulling out the shutoff cable and save the $60 or whatever the shutoff cost.
First of all, the miles shown really dont mean much. I have personally pulled speedo out of a hmmwv and replaced it with one that was brand new.
Pull your doghouse and just maybe there is a decal on the transmission bell housing showing a rebuild date.
