What part does the turn signal play in the stop lights? I know the blinker interrupts the stop light....so does that mean that the circuit goes from stop switch THROUGH the turn signal and then on to the tail lights? Just seems stop lights should work even if turn signal is there or not.
I did connect them together with a little jumper but they did not come on. There is a full 24vdc at I think wire #1....maybe #16.
Here is a caveat.....I have my turn signal switch off....took it off to replace the detents inside since it doesn't click like it should....would having it off...
Decided to take switch off truck and do the continuity check one more time.....
With it out of the truck, wife holding switch and moving the lever it will close the circuit at a little over halfway across entire throw of lever. Decided to out it back In truck and hand operated the lever and...
If I unplug mine at idle, there is a speed difference but no sound. Gotta be at some RPM to really hear it. Unplug and rev it. However, you said you have driven it around so I am sure you would have heard it if engaging all the way. Interested in seeing what the temp gun says.
I obviously wasn't very clear on what I had already done...yea there is power. It is troubleshot to the switch , however just ensuring that at the switch there isn't some other bug it could be....going to trouble a friend to use his and verify.
Yea I have gone over the easy stuff so far... been reading that the adjustment is kinda hit or miss but will definitely give it a shot. Wiring so far is looking 100% intact and pretty much brand new from rebuild. Kinda OK for SF-97's to take so long...for me anyway....gives me plenty of time to...
Alot of production has gotten messed up due to Covid....I know one large top manufacturer has stopped taking any orders for a month or more in order to catch up.
Well, checked all tires for being out of round and even did some changing of tires. Just did another road test and things seem worse. Tires seem like they are almost wobbling and steering wheel is shimming back and forth. I know I have a bad tie rod boot, but things seemed pretty tight up...
