    Full floating axle question

    You should not have 1/8 of movement at the wheel. Sounds like the bearing adjusting nut is loose. Pull the axle shaft and check the bearing adjustment. Should be snug not tight. Frank

    Much easier to remove drum and hub as an assembly. Also if drum needs turning, it has to be done as an assembly. Frank

    I would take off the hub and drum together, this will allow you to get at the thread end of the flate head screws with a torch and loosen them up, or just leave them alone and do your brake work . The drum does not have to be removed from the hub. Frank
