I'm not familiar with the spring base in the M939 series but in an M44/M809 cab the spring base with an M1009 bucket seat give me a few more inches of headroom and about 3" more lap and leg room in addition to being pretty comfortable. (6'4", 230#) Lance

Danl, if you look at the side of the tranny behind the battery box cover you'll see the data plate. It will confirm or deny what tranny it is. I've never heard of an M915A1 with anything but an HT-754 CRD but who knows what could have been done over the years. Lance

Ferro, I suspect the issue is that the GI trailers don't have running and clearance lights so a civy trailer is drawing a lot more amps than a GI trailer with just tail lights. I guess you could use the regular light switch to trip a relay and let the relay carry the load. I'll have to ask my...

There are some thick triangular gussets running from the side rails to the rear rail over the pintle that may be in the way. I'm looking at putting a flip goose neck ball on my M915A1 and will likely have to weld a plate between the gussets of be prepared for some fabricating. Lance

The M915/M916/M920 do have both a civy 12 volt and military 24 volt light connectors. I don't know about the M931/M932. Lance

Ditto. From the limited view it is the part of a 4 seat soft-top humdinger cover that boots up to the short piece over the front twp seat. It covers the rear two seats and the cargo bed. Lance
