NHC250 dual fuel line install finished

Thanks for the write up. It may be in the future of my 813 as well. Distant future. Too many things around the farm in the summer time. :-(

    M60a3

I have only been inside an M60 one time and I doubt I'd fit now. I enjoyed having my hand on an M60 when it fired its 105 at one of the firing ranges. It seems to me that given a choice, an M60A3 SLEP is better than no tank at all, a lot better. My Brother was a driver.

    Moving to Ohio need storage

Don't know about anywhere to rent/live up that way but I do have a friend that works in IT at UNOH if you have any trouble with their network. :-) If you are from Ohio welcome back. If you are not from Ohio welcome anyway. If you hurry you can still make the Findlay show.

Findlay OH 2016 Military show. May 20-22nd

I like eggs and live on a farm and not allowed to have chickens or any animals other than our four cats for that matter. :-(

    2016 Haspin rally, June 8th-12th, info/discussion thread

I usually go out on Tuesday and Matt and I are most times the first two there, not always. It depends but if I have to bring the cat I will be with all my civy equipment. Winged Dodge, ATV and camper. Very funny Matt.

    nhc 250 oil leak

Ben, Look up Triad Technologies on River Road in Moraine. If they can't build you a brand new hose it probably can't be done. Plus, they are the Parker-Hannifin dealer for the south Dayton area.

Stepping into the realm of 5 tons

I'm pretty happy with that gear -reduction starter Gimpy put on my 250. If is was half used up it will still outlast me. :-)

Bigboy down again,M923 won't build air past 59psi

That's funny, it looks like the same place they take air for the Frankentruck air ride seats. (Yeah Ben, I know you don't think it's funny now...)

    Tailgate Shipment Ideas?

We used Fastenal store-to-store shipping to get an engine (Deutz) and transmission from CA to OH and for 775lbs on a pallet it was $275. No problems and I would recommend their service. It isn't overnight but SS members aren't known for wanting to spend a lot of money. ;-)

Inexpensive HMMWV Fuel Tank Drain Plug Replacement

Great idea. Is it fuel resistant?

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Yeah, now go back to Stooges and watch your favorite.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I asked Gimpy to put a new spin-on oil filter and gear-reduction starter onto my XM813. Both very nice. It starts with two low voltage batteries and it starts faster now.

    Is this a investment ?

Like Eleanor Rigby, his wife keeps them in a jar by the door. If we are being honest. (My wife keeps mine in the fire safe.)

    Remote Brake Fluid Reservoir

Funny, that's almost exactly the same way I did my XM813 last year. Right in the corner next to the driver's seat so I see it every time I get into the truck. I only keep fluid in it up to the top of the clear tubing, don't need to fill the reservoir.
