M936A2 - Indianapolis, IN to Stokesdale, NC

Yes, a member and still here. One of a few I'd trust to load or drive any of my trucks. (No, not my truck being loaded.)

    The NASA Truck

The movie industry never lets facts get in the way of the story.

NHC 250 head bolt torque and sequence

You may want to call Cummins to make sure of the correct torque.

NHC 250 head bolt torque and sequence

There is a manual specifically for the engine but it isn't in front of me right now. The one my Brother has has the sequence for removal and install but as I recall the torque is not correct.

    The NASA Truck

Funny, it's one of those base that I know where it is. I remember it and the Delk Rd exit off I75 for some reason. :-) Boss said look it up in IMDB to see what it is. Interesting premise and I'll be looking for yet another member's truck in a movie or on TV. :-)

    M818 Alternator question

One heck of a crash scene. Parting out or trying to put it back together?

    M818 Alternator question

No, the 12V alternator is not something you should expect, it is normally 28V at 60A. I want pics of the "crash site". ;-)

Brand new 3053, brand new Waterloo kit, started popping out of 5th

Did you have them put in a calibrated elbow or was that the other side? ;-)

NHC250 alternator pulley loose, throwing belts!

If you go with the civi version you already have the needed pulley. If it is just loose and wobbly you have to drill it out anyway to go on the Delco style. Wolverine is good to.

    CUCV Ham radio antenna bracket

I like that mount for the Yaesu FT-2900. That's the radio I use at the Georgia Rally.

    Most Common Rods

Well, Gimpy and I got the mower to the point where I could weld it up. I grabbed a small 6011 to run a bead on scrap to get started and did not like the way it looked so I opened up the dry tube with the MG500 rods in it. Holy cow! At 130 or 140A the bead looked like a TIG bead. I proceeded...

    M35 vs M813???

The same single circuit system on a M813 as an M35A2. Larger parts though.

Test running multi outside of truck - suggestions?

We pulled mine with the transmission cover still on, just take the shift lever off the top. Be mindful of the air line to the compressor. It was the only thing we crushed upon reassembly.

Test running multi outside of truck - suggestions?

Here is the video of an old (real old) master at work in Florida. I hope no one recognizes him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANB_4x_lf18 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LkSbYN29D0

    2016 Haspin rally, June 8th-12th, info/discussion thread

Driving through my yard Making fun of my new light bar on my tractor Making fun of my reaction to me almost being killed by some weaselly little a-hole And now threatening to park on my ATV I need more friends like you. :-)

change from 100 amp altermator to 60

Put a civilian version in the truck and be done with it. If you look at a 60A military version wrong (or right for that matter) it releases the magic smoke.
