They started it with the switch on the front. The only thing that stood out to me was they turned it to prime/run and then went to start. They didn't hold it there long and then switched it into prime/run/aux and then the unit cranked up and ran. The video was only 15 seconds. I'm not...
This is a very common problem with the older MEP-004A and MEP-005A engines. They have been around a long time and its going to happen. High hour machines are the main machines that it strikes. Regardless of what your hour meter says. Its an easy fix. Or I think so, if you have the tools and a...
This solenoid is very common. Have you started started a "Parts Wanted" Thread? Have you looked up both NSN and part number to use in your search engine?
You need to start your own Thread. This thread is 4 pages long and it will not bring help to you, or the origanial thread starter. If you need help starting a thread, say something.

Now, its been 14+ years since I took one out. But try pushing the aluminum part into the white ferule, while pulling the black plastic lower part up. That should give you the room to take it out.
If it went in, it will come out.
If it aint broke, dont fix it. If you have a chance to get a part to keep on hand, Yes sir! Would do it.
Have you down loaded the TM from the TM Forum?
Here is a bit of info to help you out. Look at the wire number. And number that has a 100 on it is a ground wire. So you should never have voltage on it.
