I have said it a million times. Now, one last time. Why test at more that 100% load? If it pulls its rated load, be happy. The six hours was my standard in the Army. But "Just" 100% load.

Also you need to readjust R1, (I think its R1) in the box. And there may be one other thing. Need to check.

The brass fitting with spring and ball is a non repairable item. Get a new fitting.

OK, When you took out the the IP to repair it, what else did you do? When does the CB1 pop? When you push it in, and the S2 is in the off position? Or after you push in the CB1 and turn the S2 to the start or run position? Or after it starts and runs? I need some info here.

Also military uses positive as ground? Since when. The last equipment I saw with a Pos. Ground was in 1972.

You can remove the tank cover and pull up the FL1 and FL2 switch. Then manually operate the float or floats.

What you may also do, is see if someone has parted out a MEP-813A (400 hertz model), and would send you/ sell you the wire harness. Start a "Parts Wanted" thread. Most people think of the as junk after they loot out the engine and a few other parts. They forget that the wire harness is ALMOST...
