Is the part number on your water pump the same as in the ARMY TM? No. It isn't. You have bought the wrong pump. Therefor the threads might not be the same. The part number you used has a compleatly different NSN. I looked both NSN's up, and they are not interchangeable.

I once helped get a 1 million dollar radar ready to go back to Mama Raytheon. Mice got into it in the winter. Total loss. 1 million bucks. The wires all over were chewed through. At last, a mouse got caught in the Magnatron, and the radar burned like a camp fire.

No mater what configuration, you will ALWAYS get 120 VAC out of the 120 volt outlets if the set is wired right.

TM = Technical Manual. The TM's that came with your set may not be newer than what is in the TM forum. You should go to the Generator TM forum, down load the TM's there and compare them. And then spend some time reading the operators TM.

I uploaded the Lister Peter books in the forum. Take a look at them. There are a lot of applications shown in there that are not the normal 802-803 sets.
I was in a hurry last night. I should have told you to simply take the front cover off, pull the MT5 out and look at it, test it, and then know its good/bad. Simple. Takes longer to get the panel off then to test it.
Have you downloaded all the TM's for the gen set here in the forum? Before you start ordering things, its a better idea to test things.
The troubleshooting for the M5, (Fuel Level Meter) is simple. Keep in mind, that a miswiring of M5 is a fairly common thing. With the power to the control...
