You'll want to replace your wheel cylinder. The axle oil will damage the rubber components on the wheel cylinder. It's also possible the wheel cylinder was the source of the oil. Remember, these trucks use a silicone oil for the brakes instead of traditional brake fluid.
OEM parts are almost always best. Be weary chassis components with zerk fittings. These are problematic because the correct lubricants for modernish vehicle suspensions are NOT available at the parts store and are typically very expensive to purchase. The rubber seals and components used in...
As I understand, the risk from CARC is the silica content. Silica is not harmful when ingested so it is not like lead. If it's on the ground it's ok.
It is bad if inhaled.
So you have two options, wear a respirator or don't make dust. Wet sanding means no dust and makes your paper last longer...
I operate a fleet of engines that each engine operates nearly 3000 hours per year. Weak materials make themselves evident in very short time. Being specific about materials has greatly improved my fleet reliability. The best material is a combination of longevity, cost, and most importantly...
If it's riveted or bolted seams that are leaking you could consider sand blasting the seams and painting on a polyurethane or epoxy coating that completely covered the entire seam, rivets, and overlaps onto the surrounding metal. You can't spot repair lapped seams because it's impossible to tell...
Canvas? 303 Fabric Guard was the best product for boat canvas. A little expensive, it requires reapplication annually here in California. Maybe more frequently in areas with more rain?
I do not know the specific material you are trying to seal.
The problem is that there is no circulation so the heat stays at the highest point where it does the most damage, in the heads. Without flow your temperature sensor may not even see this heat. I would minimize the amount of time you run this engine in this condition. A few minutes at idle power...
The only thing about the OEM filters is that there has recently been a Chinese knockoff introduced. You used to be able to go to any parts house and buy their house brand filter for $15 and under their sticker would be the Stanadyne nameplate. Now, most of the parts store filters re $25 and are...
You would certainly do well to select Viton. There are some variations of Viton but they're all excellent for diesel fuel service. The next choice is the hardness. Shore A 75 durometer will be correct for most o-rings.
The first problem, however, is going to be identifying the sizing standard...
Please don't say, an o-ring is an o-ring. The material is extremely important to consider to get longevity and low seepage. There are also multiple sizing conventions including SAE, ISO, JIS, DIN. McMaster-Carr has 13,304 different o-ring part numbers.
You should probably order a drive gear ahead of time.

I think yours is a 40MT but not sure.
The VRV and modulator work together to set trans pressure relative to engine torque. Without the VRV you would have one trans pressure over all conditions which would result in two results. You will have hard late shifts at part throttle or slippery early shifts at full throttle.
If you use an...
