I've seen those before but never considered them. I wonder if you could take the zerk fitting out and use that in the hole instead of pushing the ball in. I can see why you would need a rag handy! Thanks for the reply. I'll try that. It would sure beat taking each end of the driveshaft off!
Greased one u-joint on the trans to transfer case driveshaft of my M923A2. Is there any special way to do this? How does the military do this in this driveshaft? I can't get my grease gun with small tip to line up with the fitting. Is taking each end off the only way? Gotta be an easier...
The water pump weep hole is on the underside of the water pump snout where the fan bolts. There is a small hole there that when the water pump seal goes bad, it will leak and tell you it's time to replace the pump. If it continues to leak, it will cause the pump shaft bearing to go bad then...

Is the truck turning over and not starting or is it not turning over at all? If it is turning over and not starting, you probably have introduced air into the fuel system by removing the drain valve on the bottom. You mentioned you stripped the bottom drain valve. They are plastic as I...
Try a Chevy or GMC dealer with this number: 15535678. I bought one from local dealer back in 2013. Don't know if the number is any good now though. Good luck.
