m38inmaine is right,it just rests on top of the windshield frame and the pressure of the hardtop keeps it in place,only the side frames bolt to the hardtop assmy. It took a while to figure out with no directions!!

Will do quarkz, It does have a foam strip with a recess cut into it to fit to the windscreen top rail,as m38inmaine said. I actually had to remove the slide rail for the soft top to get it to fit correctly.

Well,home at last,"murphy" left us alone till literally 5 minutes from the house,then trailer tire #2 blew out,luckily I had 1 more spare and after a 15 minute change,we got home around 9 PM local. I'll go more into detail about the trip tomorrow,time for some sleep now.

Arrived in mobile al last night around 2330 hrs with no issues,back on the road at 0930 local time. ETA home,8 pm local

After a 3 am trailer tire change and back down to 65 mph,it appears we won't make it to marks till about 5 pm.
