could it be the CAT 3116 was designed; as used in the A0, to be more sacrificial over the Allison tranny? So getting the Allison warm was a higher priority for its longevity compared to getting the 3116 warm? And if so.... is that sacrificial maybe something to consider reserving? Does...

Unimog attempted a 6x6 with the final axle being hydraulic powered..... it actually went into production.... End result... to many hydraulic motor(?) failures. Not sure what they did for everyone who bought that model truck. Far as I know the whole idea has been scrapped since then.

resting voltage? anyway..... with that output sounds like the miss wiring fubared the voltage regulator. they are expeeeeeeeeeensive. Not sure best route...... cost wise.
