You guys ain't to blame for NOTHING.
Razzing Nubes is one thing ...
but some folks around here are deliberately nasty, arrogant and just plain rude whenever a Nube comes aboard ... and asks a nube kinda question.
I just got chastized about the rules on this board ... so I went over and read...
I didn't say how I felt about an anti-gun bias.
I didn't say that I like the rule ... or disliked it. I only expressed my surprise.
I only stated that I had read something about this in another forum.
Go to the Survival Blog ... and do a search.... a through one ... for an article on the...
I read that whole thread ... and the one indicated in the first or second post in
...
The posts in those threads claim "true" weights from 1,450 to 2,000 pounds.
After reading all of that stuff ... I don't think that anybody has a real idea ...
apart from what the guy reading the scale tells...
HOLY COW!!! YER RIGHT!!!!
I post a couple pictures of gunz ... and I went and looked ...
AND THEY'RE GONE!!!
No Excrement!!!
I read someplace that there is an anti-gun bias here ... I think it was on another forum ...
But I didn't believe it.
I mean ... these are MILITARY VEHICLES...
REALLY!!!!
I had no idea.
I had my face buried in Manuals ... and doing through searches ... that I never read the rules page.
Would having a veiled reference to firearms in my sig-line be a cause for disciplinary action too?
*wow*

These guys are TOUGH around here!
All I see is a picture of a boom ... and a scale ... and maybe something VERY heavy hanging from it.
Got the rest of the picture?
How about the thread its from?
Thanks

Dang ...
I tried to get to you before it was too late. Sorry.
Welcome aboard nube.
*sigh*
Now that we got the pleasantries out of the way ...
READ THE THREAD BELOW IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE YOU SAY ANOTHER WORD.
FOLLOW EACH AND EVERY STEP THAT I LAID OUT IN THAT THREAD ...
ESPECIALLY the...
Scrap in NoGA is at $11.50 per hundred today.
I didn't get all that I hoped for ... BUT ... I got paid in cash ... the bed's off the Deuce

Your Granpa had good taste.
I always liked the size (and the James Bond flair) of the PPK ... but the price tag was always way outta my range.
Two years ago importers started bringing in the P-64 from Poland ... a blatant rip off of the PPK ... chambered in 9x18 Makarov.
The price when I...
IF (and a big ol' if) you can believe the scrap yard ... the M35a2 bed weighs 1,300 POUNDS.
I've seen guesstamits on the M105 bed at 700 pounds.
Don't forget ... there is more then just the bed that comes off when doing a bob job.
oddshot
AMEN BROTHER!!!
But the bed is off .. the cash is in hand ... and I'm moving on.

BTW ... The reference made in your sig-line about the Smith and Wesson ...
you wouldn't be talking about the Mod 19 would you?
Best dam .357/38 revolver made by the hand of man! EVER!
Keeping me...
The bed from an M35a2 weighs 1300 pounds ...
or at least that's what the scales at the scrap yard told me today.
And the sign on the scales said:
HONEST WEIGHT
so I gotta believe them.
let the bobbin' begin

Hey bud ...
can you share the link for that good time?
I'm gonna be flushing the system when I do the bobbing of the beast ... so I'm gonna be needin' DOT 5.

OK Jim ... maybe you know best with that ...
BUT ...LISSEN UP NUBE!!!!
There are a BUNCH of crusty old pharts around here ... that are REAL crusty and REAL old...
and they will expect ... DEMAND ... that you do things BY THE NUMBERS around here!!!
WHEN you have a question ... any old thing...
lol ...
maybe you should make him do the "grease gun race" ... make him lube the truck ... making sure he don't miss ANY grease fitting ... using proper procedure ...
wipe grease nipple, mount grease gun ... two pumps ... dismount grease nipple ... wipe grease ... move on top the next
AND...
NOT THE FUEL FILTERS TOO!!!
I was gonna steer this young buck your way Jim ... It sounds like he's pretty close to you.
It's good to see all the folks in NoGa stepping up!
oddshot ...
Nope ... the reference to the GaNg was an accidental slip of the tongue. Sometimes I'm funny w/o even...
No doubt about it!!!
That's why I keep bumping this thread to the top of the pile.
This thread keeps my "eye on the prize!!!"
Soon ... very soon!

Welcome aboard Zack ...
You shouldn't have trouble finding somebody to show you the ropes ... there's a GANG of folks here from Georgia.
I'm a bit too far west to help you out ... Pickens County ...
but if you can't find nobody else ... and want to make the drive out ... I'll do what I can...
This things looks pretty cool ... it just *might* work ...
But my Daddy taught me that *mites* are found on a chicken's rear end.
I did a search ... both on this Site (both the Deuce forum AND this forum) AND on the Internet ...
I found a lot of people talking about these things ...
BUT I...
