Yet another good word of advice.
Let me add ... just in the off chance that this IS a wheel cylinder ...
Do ALL of them at once.
Its false economy to do just one at a time.

Gotta back up Westech on this one ...
From the appearance of the leak in the photo I am about 99.80 % certain that its brake fluid ...
... but the fluid is coming out of the wrong spot to be a wheel cylinder.
A wheel cylinder leak generally drips (pours) fluid straight down the brake...
Back when I was in High School (before 1969) ... I used to walk to school.
I'd take a short cut through a lot where an owner/operator had his rigs parked ...
One quiet spring morning, as I was walking past one of his trucks ... he started it ...the WHOOP of the air starter caused me to break...
Y'all gotta watch that electrickery stuff ... ya can't see it ... but its in there lurkin' ... watchin' ... waitin'

Although I haven't done one on this type of engine ... I imagine you could also do a cooling system pressure check.

THERE WERE BODIES THERE????
:shock::shock:
This DOES sound like a good time.
My birthday is the 20th ... it shouldn't be hard to convince the wife that I NEED to do this.

Just a drop on your finger ... put it on your tongue.
Antifreeze is sweet and not oily
Oil is ... well ... oily.
Diesel can throw a new guy ... the smell makes it sorta taste sweet ... but give it a moment and you'll see the difference.
NOW...
I spent the day with y Deuce ... and finally took the time to read some of the stickers and etc that the US and A Army glued to it.
One of them tells me that this truck has a TACOM APPROVED brake system installed.
Another tells me that there is a TACOM APPROVED HydraVac in the system.
So I...
Without gettin' all ZEN about it ... there is a certain joy and peace in working on stuff like this.
This is an HONEST truck. Steel and cast iron. NO electrickery that will rear back and bite you.
The most complicated thing on it is the directional signals.
You push a lever ... it pivots...
There is a BUNCH of fellers from Georgia on this site ... and there ain't NONE out by you???
Hartwell is East of me ... but not so far that I can't stop by someday and say hey.
I want to get up to Toccoa oneday and try to find the old Airborne school up there.
I shot at an Appleseed (look it...
