Greetings friends. I am seeking a brush guard/ grill guard for a CUCV. Sadly, I am unable to pay for gold plated ones. If you have something you can bring, let me know. Don't pm me, I still can't find my pms on the new format.
Whelp, guess I'll go. Anyone ever stayed at Armadillo place? I will be and anything is better than the brown roof inn .
I've checked out the price list. No mention of arm bands for those just at the rally. Will Durhamtown have their folks present to collect their fees? I noted that the fees...
That's a steal. I thought all 530C trucks had the deluge gun. Could it be a 530B? If you do the deed and de-bed it, remember is has a transfer case PTO on it. Don't scrap that.
Is there a date period for these? I have 5 six ton jackstands (one destroyed in a hurricane) . The labels are long gone but the stands are orange and white. I have an email into Harbor Fright right now so hopefully, can get a response. With that said, I'm picking up a Hein Werner floor jack...
Well, the drain tube sounds interesting. Did GM use such a critter on civy trucks? I converted my truck. It has all 1984 parts but I've never heard of that drain tube. Off to my parts illustration catalog to see.
That is true. Unless you're going to some high performance Borg and Beck style clutch, the factory one ton clutch is pretty easy. I've got bad knees and I manage fine. Your mileage may vary.
Might I add that the administrator dude failed to mention that his CUCV with 37s has a turbo from a 6.5 fitted to it. Question is, can it? Likely, with enough time and perseverance. Should it, likely not.
Why do you require hydraulic clutch? If it's because that's what you heard was best, you may need to revisit that. The Porkchop physician was spot on with the difference in brake pedals. The hydroboost pedal also sports a small return spring. Converting mechanical to hydro clutch requires much...
I've known about the pre-bent lines, just never looked into them. I just checked out the part number you listed and came up questioning it. It surely does list it's application as K-30. Does it come with a few pieces of extra line? K30 was available in 131.5, 135.5, 159.5 and 164.5 wheelbases. I...
Looks great. The other mod to consider is bypassing the GP resistor and running the glow plugs from a 12V source. Keeps the cascading effect from destroying your remaining glow plugs if one fails.
I hated to bug out Saturday but registration wasn't happening and I was woefully unprepared for the soaking rain and standing water.
About the rally, it was great to see all my friends, make a bunch of new ones and see those who missed the last few years. Remember, Clinto and all those that...
