I'll try to answer a couple of your questions. I chose to take exactly 36" out to keep the bed " original " looking only shorter. I don't have the bows or cargo cover yet. Cutting the same 36" off of the troop seats was easy and it worked perfectly.

Ken and I have done 3 long range recoveries with that tow bar, one pulling a 5 ton through the mountains of Tennessee. It worked flawlessly every time. Two LMTV's and a 923A2. Think whatever you want, it works.
Been there, done that twice. I replaced 2 gaskets before I realized that the head was warped. Do yourself a favor and lapp the head on a perfectly flat surface before you reinstall with another gasket. The problem is the aluminum unloader head, not the steel jacketed head, gets warped over time.
After putting the short bed on the 932A2, I really missed the toolbox that was originally mounted on the passenger end of the tire carrier. So I came up with the idea to " hide " it inside the bed. I was originally just going to mount it centered below the headache rack but came up with a better...
Fill it through the shrader valve right there on your wheel valve. But make sure that you get it within a few pounds of your other tires or you will fault the CTIS out when you start your truck the next time. Hit RUN FLAT just in case.
I've done the swap to A2 carriers to a couple of trucks without moving the bed. It worked fine.

Look underneath the windshield washer bottle area; I think you will find it there. I had the same issue with my truck and remember taking that valve apart to clean it. It fixed my problem.
He sold it for personal reasons and Ken and I felt it would be best to " keep it in the family ". It's only an hour away if he needs it or just wants to visit.
