    932A2 short bed install

Yep. I've never liked the looks of the Deuce bed or 105 bed on the 939's so I decided to cut a standard bed down one bay, 3 feet, to keep the bows evenly spaced when I decide to put bows and a cover on it.

    932A2 short bed install

The batteries are still under the seat. I plan on swapping out the box with a regular toolbox before I paint it.

    932A2 short bed install

After a couple of weeks of thinking and planning and a few hours of actual " work ", I finally got the bed installed on the tractor. I am well pleased with the results and believe that the effort was well worth it. We cut 3 feet out of the center of the bed and sides so I will be able to modify...

M934A2 with 6CTA 8.3L Turbo Diesel will not run

 That's an entirely different thread.....my guess is you have a leak somewhere.

    Tire hop

Every 5 ton that I have ever owned had this same quirk. Nature of the big-tired beast in my opinion. And I had better luck with no more than 55 psi in the tires with non-CTIS trucks.

    Clemson Veterans Appreciation Day 2015

    Nice picture Butch.

He did for sure. Practically gave it to him...... And felt good about it.

    winch installs

Hey Swamp, you have extra mount holes already drilled in your bumper for another winch. Maybe have the back one spool onto the front one and have a 36,000 pound killer winch.....Now that would be a conversation piece for sure.

    winch installs

Go with whichever you like. I highly doubt that you will shear off eight off even the 8.8's.

Is there a screw in block heater for the 6CTA 8.3 or just the freeze plug type?

Yep. It's easy to install also. All you need is a hammer and big punch.

Is there a screw in block heater for the 6CTA 8.3 or just the freeze plug type?

Bought mine on Amazon for less than $55. Zerostart 860-1860 Engine Block Heater

    too much air pressure

Sounds like your PPV valve is plugged. Relief valve should reset on it's own.

    Fan clutch bolts

That's the old style fan/clutch assembly. The new and improved ones has studs in the clutch and no rubber damper.

Just discovered New Air dryer not working and Compressor runs non stop on M923A2

This. I had mine do the same thing. It was the PPV.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I would recommend checking all of your CTIS related hoses and fittings on all 6 wheels before you start blaming the PCU. When you ran the truck today, did you have the RPM's up, not just idling? I'd recommend hitting runflat and taking the truck on a drive to get plenty of air. Or even better is...

    939 series Turn Signal Buzzer

Bingo Swamp! 467A works like a charm! I plan on installing a switch in line with the beeper so it can be turned off with the 4 way flashers during parades. Thanks again!

    939 series Turn Signal Buzzer

I think that you may be on to something Swamp. I'll try to tap into that wire and see what happens. Thanks.

    939 series Turn Signal Buzzer

Coffey1 tried it without much success. I'd like to know which wire supplies voltage to the bulb.

    939 series Turn Signal Buzzer

Has anyone here installed a turn signal buzzer/beeper on their 939 series? If so do you know the wire number to tap in to? I bought a couple of 24 volt beepers on Ebay for around $5 and want to install them in series with the flashing bulb in the turn signal assembly. Before you say " Just get...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Push run flat as soon as you start your truck. Tell us what happens then after a few minutes.
