Are you sure of the three lever switch operations? Lower left should be all the way up, and top should be two clicks to the right. The lower right is the unlock to move them freely
I have 395s on my 923 but I changed all 6 because of the difference in height. It was a very worthwhile investment. 14-20s are going away. 395s will be available for decades. If you gotta swap any, might as well swap them all.
Hi, for my hp upgrade I used the turbo from a 290HP engine. That with the fuel adjustment was all that was necessary to REALLY wake up the 3116 in my LMTV. I have the parts manual and could look that up but it will be a bit.
Just before you do that, plug it all back in and check again. I had a truck with an unlocked and loose connector to the back of the keypad with exact same symptoms.
