Just picked up a M54A1C fire truck.

Be safe. Take any two bulbs and check their voltages. I does not start because you have no power to anything. The additional master switches were for radios and emergency lights. Emergency kit can be 24 volt or 12 volt. Some of my kit runs from 'Half' the batteries (the first battery) and they...

Out from the truck, Round the anchored block, Back and round to block on the the truck. Back to and shackled to the block anchored. Resultant 2 to one. Whatever...

    Resurrecting an M108

Is that not a rather small engine for a truck that size? (as), the specifications run 3 1/2 litre and 140 H.P. Looks a great truck to restore, and the work will keep you well occupied for while. So, well done we will follow your restoration with pictures hopefully as you proceed.

Splitting up the TM Modern Conflict Vehicles into vehicle specific threads

Could not agree more, I personally find 'books' like this are laid out in the most un-user friendly method as is possible. But then so are most "Help"? manuals.

    Adding a battery disconnect switch

I use double throw Isolator switches. Like fitted to fire trucks etc. All mine Isolate the POSITIVE, and the NEGATIVE terminals.
