Just checked out your album and you did your paint job yourself! Great Work by the Way! [thumbzup]
I always Like to watch the progress of a vehicle from what they start out as, then see the repairs and updates that a person chooses to do, then to see how it all comes together in the finished...
Any of you Deuce Owners Have Any Suggestions on:
Maintenance Items (not basic Maintenance, but things specific to the deuce)
How about Things that may need to be Checked (again items specific to the deuce, not general/normal stuff) ?
And the best part, how about Some ideas for Good...
Thanks Everyone for your comments!
Yeah, you know I think the color is starting to grow on me...
Might have to name it Kermit.
 "...It Ain't Easy bein' Green..."
There is a lot of scattered posts about the regulator, but I've really only found one actual Thread addressed specifically about it.
Basically, from what I understand, if regulator is working 100% properly, your steering should also working at 100% assistance. However, these regulators...
LOL! From the color, I'm guessing that your M1009 was one of Brett's too
Let me guess, you named it "Butterbean" because of the color ?

Makincold & 1 Patriot-of-many Yeah the color is a bit... bright. Could just be the photos though, or at least in part. Might have to do some re-painting to the 3 color camo so the truck will match the bed cover :D
1 Patriot-of-many Just over ten.
Hey All,
After a lot of time thinking about what Truck to get, and hours of searching and waiting on auctions. We finally decided to bid on an decent looking 93' M35A3 w/w that was listed on GL. But when the dust settled, I got outbid....
But I'm Glad I got outbid this time! Because just a...
That was the one I was looking at! About two weeks ago right?
Missed out on it, and that is why I was looking for another one. Hadn't ever seen and M36A3 before that one, didn't know they existed. I would have bid on that one, but I didn't know at the time if I would have been able to...
Well if I have a generator with 110v access. Although Expensive, I found this pump. Fluid Transfer Pump # FR700V by Tuthill Corporation
And if I understand what is states in the description, It has a Minimum of 15ft Lift, and is designed to be used with underground tanks. Any Thoughts...
Ok, so the ASK housing does help reduce the noise to a more "tolerable" level then. Well that's good to know when looking at the auctions. But if nothing else, maybe I can build a "box" around it and do the similar thing. Just have to make it breathable enough to keep it cool though. I don't...
They seriously were stealing fuel from gas station tanks? How were they not seen? I know you said they were inside a trailer, but it seems that someone sitting off a bit could see under the trailer. I assume they did get caught, otherwise no one would have known how they were doing it right?
I...
Kind of like how an non-submersible well pump works right? Hummm something to think about. Does that mean a pump that would normally not be able to lift from that depth, with the addition of a foot valve, it would then be capable of this? I'm guessing it would just take a while to prime right...
I wonder if there is anything to prevent a person from building a sound deadening box around one of these generators?
If they weigh 300+ lbs, I would just have to mount it in the truck anyway. So I would think building a box around it, but of course having cutouts for access to the controls...
Well, I don't want a trickle, so I guess I need a flood. I would like to be able to do 250 Gallons in an Hour at least. Don't want to spend all day just filling up tanks. I figured from the GPM/H ratings I had seen on lower suctions lift pumps (like the 15ft lift), I thought if a pump was...
