Most times it's the ground tab in the bulb socket that breaks off or needs cleaning. Your dash light is a separate problem, get a multimeter and make sure the trace is not broken. You may also try bending the tabs on the socket out a bit.
Glad to see another project goat on board, look forward to sharing information. I have a nice carrier hull that is free for the taking but I suspect there must be one closer for you.
That's it, see you are still on the ball. Here is a picture of the throttle linkage on the bell housing, I am missing the extension piece that bolts to the horizontal arm. If anyone has a picture of their linkage and a couple more as it goes back so I can see how it attaches to the bracket...
TB 750-981-2 April 73 contains special repair information for Gama Goat such as cold start air pump, wiper motors and accelerator install. Would be nice to find a copy of this.

I had one working in my AN/GRC-142 shelter. It will use either stand alone voltage, I ran mine on 115v AC. You will also need a cable to the modem and radio. New ink ribbons can be tough to find, mine was a UGC74"B" model.
Good luck Tom, standing by. I don't see anything in the manual about them being a one time use, it does suggest lubing the threads and under the head of the bolt.
