You need to be shure ,to use alignment tool to line up new clutch or you will not get trans in . Also put alittle grease on pilot bearing and spline .

You have to loosen the two 3/8" bolts on the front then hold the back half of the pulley with wrench on the hex, Then turn the front half counter clockwise the pulley halfs unwind from each other to loosen belt. There is a special wrench to turn front half but pipe wrench will work, just don't...
I found this thread searching for noise in the return line mine is making a vibrating noise at the tank u can feel it with your hand all the way back didn't know if there was a final decision on the cause ?
I think that's abit small 12volts 2 amps would only be 1 amp 24 volts it only does starter solenoid but it a big one. I would say at least a 10amp rated at 24 volts at min ever time you push it it arcs inside and if it's to small will quickly wear out

There should be space between shoe and cam either spring are stretched or the wheel cylinder has a ridge and won't let it return all the way in.

Just thinking about your troubles. Before jumping in here wash the motor real good then run it and see what's happening, could just be the pan gasket they are cork and tend to leak or come loose.just my thoughts

No the front seal is in the timing chain cover. It's a Standard lip seal, to get to it pull off front crank pulleyamd remove timing chain cover seal is in the cover replace it and reinstall. Much easier than the rear seal
That rear main seal would be a rope style drop the pan , drop the rear crank bearing and u will see seal pull it out and install the new seal it pulls around the crank . The new seal will have directions with it not a bad job once the pan is off. Be shure to retourqe the bearing to spec , off u...
It is definitely important that the brakes do no touch the drum , mentioned in other replies and the video link mentioned. With new shoes the top and bottom must both be set!
