Any larger pitman arm puller should be fine. I used a kit purchased off Amazon, "PMD Front End Service" will pull it up. It's gone up in price, but is a good visual reference.
You can get a large pitman puller at most auto parts stores too. I used the large C shaped puller and a little J...
Thanks for the ideas Gents. The Double Nickel lead got me to eBay where I found some good listings for both those products and from ROSCO. I'm sifting through them now. Double mirrors are expensive, but good sized 6.5"x10" flat mirrors seems to be readily had for a good price.
I'll post the...
I wouldn't paint them all with the same brush. The CREE part is just the LEDs, which anyone can buy and incorporate into a product. The maker of the overall assembly is the one not holding their end up. CREE LED's are good product and made in the USA!

Great question Dock Rocker. Thanks for asking. No, I do not. I should have mentioned my setup, my mistake.
I have a 1987 M998 with soft top and soft doors. I had the standard military mirrors with standard two bracket setup bolted to the A pillars. It would seem the best bet is some kind...
Having rubbed my passenger side mirror off on a tree at the Graves Mountain rally earlier this month I am looking for replacements.
I don't care for the military options, especially in that the captured nut in the HMMWV mirror will eventually rust and I won't be able to adjust the mirrors as...
It’s a solenoid operated valve not a vacuum pump. One moving part inside. It gets pressure and fluid from the steering pump. I figure the reason why it hisses for some of us and not others is down to individual vehicle characteristics of fluid type, amount of use, age of components and so on...
It's the valve doing it's job. Sometimes the mount gets jiggered and the movement of the hydraulic fluid through the valve resonates on the mounting and body. Strictly speaking it's physics, not something to be "fixed'. Proper mounting and damping helps. If your valve is very noisy, even...
We'll be interested to hear how it goes WireFox as it will educate us on options for transmission replacement from more commonly available items.
Best of luck!

Thanks Valence! Good gouge there. Much appreciated. I will definitely pull the hubs all the way apart this Fall, and replace all seals and gaskets as a matter of precaution. She shouldn't need anything after that for a long time. Very solid trailer. I am still tickled at the quality and...
DP, No I did not have a socket large enough. 1.5" is the biggest I have on hand. I'd hoped to be able to do more, but even so as you note I did open up each hub and inspect visually and with my ears. Both sounded fine, with grease still present, and I squirted some more Lucas green n tacky in...
Installed 4 new seat belts and retractors. Sourced from theBay, guy selling just the belt with no latch, at a discount from those selling with latches. My latches were fine, so didn't feel the need to replace them.
Also installed a little snorkel, to raise the intake mushroom cap a few inches...
In addition: four jerry can mounting trays, two CUCV antenna mounting kits (a couple parts missing, but mostly there), two trailer light modules (incomplete), a CUCV spare tire mount, some shackles, and one antenna spring base.
