Satellite photos of your (or other) MV's

Nobody else is going to post pics? If we're just going to BS about mine, what do yout think it'll cost me to have that silver maple at the SE corner of the house taken out?

LOL I'll venture most houses look pretty good from that distance. You can't see the "warts." [thumbzup]

Satellite photos of your (or other) MV's

Last week I noticed Google Earth had done a new fly-by over my house and updated their images, so now I have a satellite photo of my deuce and M223. Post yours!

    Adventures in WMO

I got a line on a full barrel of free WMO, so today my son and I headed out in the deuce. She already had about 5 gallons of WMO from home and I didn't know how much diesel because the fuel gauge is less-than-accurate. I cranked 20 gallons through the filter and was surprised to see the tank...

That's a weird, non sequitur post there, Mike.

How many gallons before a filter change, typically?

    Adventures in WMO

I pumped about 4 gallons via hand crank yesterday and hardly noticed it (in terms of time or effort). I now have a line on a full drum of waste oil I can have for free. I'll get back to you after that one.

    Adventures in WMO

Hey, I finally found the thread that I chose my equipment from: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce/53268-waste-oil-filtration-system.html 5 micron filter. NAPA part numbers: Base PN 4750 and filter 1749

    Adventures in WMO

I ended up getting about 4.5 gallons filtered today and poured it in the tank. Washed it down with 1/2 gal of diesel plus what little was already in the tank. She fired right up, no smoke to note, ran very smooth. I want to say it sounded a little "less rattley" but that's probably just my...

    Adventures in WMO

Yeah my filter housing has IN - OUT and that's it (I'll look again, but pretty sure...) I think in the first year of ownership I've filled the tank twice. Not all of us drive like you do. :D

    Antisipation of GL Auction Items

Yeah pretty much the only way you find out about lots before they appear on GL is if you talk to the guy running the base / pickup area you want to inquire about. Some may tell you of things coming up and some may not. I would guess that pretty much all of them do not want phone calls asking...

    Adventures in WMO

I finally got started with WMO today. I've had a drum in the garage for some time, and picked up a cheap-o HF hand-crank barrel pump (that may prove to be the weak link). Got the filter and housing from NAPA as indicated in other threads here. Once the pump was assembled, the biggest challenge...

A dryer cord from Lowes and a little creative grinding works in that socket, too. [thumbzup]

    Cheap fuel for Haspin 2011?

I would only be down about 10 gallons assuming I leave home full, so...no poll option for me!
