Found this while researching WMO, looking for filtering ideas.
Guy was fined for using off-road fuel with WMO in his tank.

EDIT: I worded that poorly above: he was NOT running off-road diesel. He was...
It is 350 round trip (or a little less, even) but I take to heart what you're saying. I just don't know that I'm gonna have time. Probably Feb 26th is my last chance to do the trip, and today it's too cold and snowy outside to get anything done. If we get some decent weather I can maybe work on...
No doubt I can be a worry-wort when it comes to things like this. I'm not naturally very mechanical but I can do fine when I understand how things fit together. As a result I tend to ask too many questions.
I know the most popular answer is "read the TM" but I appreciate everyone's patience...
Yeah, I did a basic check on lights before I drove it home of course. And everything seems ship-shape in that dept. I wonder if I could check the trailer pins with a multimeter? I'll have to look up the pin diagram. Good thought on bulbs for the trailer, hadn't considered that.
No no, I have a jack. But I've been reading that wheel and tire are like 165 lbs and you have to be careful when pulling them off not to mash the threads on the studs.
...or is it not as hard as I'm making it seem?
I had all my filters before I had the truck.
Sigh, I was hoping to avoid pulling the wheels because I don't have an easy way to lift them here. I'll have to figure that out.
Okay, drove the deuce home from Frankfort a little over a month ago, and just today got the title. That means I can get plates now. Yay!
But, in about a month (at the latest) I need to make a 350-mile round trip to Piqua, OH and back to pick up my ammo trailer. It's being stored at my...
I know there's three sides to every story, but the GL lady I talked to said it was the C.O. at Boone to blame--that they'd love to just sell them from Frankfort but he wants them out of there NOW!
She said that, including some others in Greenville, KY, over 100 trucks need to be hauled from KY to Huntsville.
I offered to take a couple off their hands and save them the trouble. I guess it don't work that easy...
Yep, I got the same contact.
I called the GL lady who e-mailed me; while I had her on the phone I asked her what was going to happen to all those trucks still in Frankfort. She said they're all being shipped to Huntsville, AL. :-(
Oh well, so much for trying for a winch truck.
If fiberglass troop seats have been sitting around, possibly for years, in a warped or curved position (not creased or broken) will they come back straight? Maybe in the sun? I don't know how fiberglass behaves.
March 3rd: I'll be driving my deuce from Louisville to Piqua, Ohio (N. of Dayton) and then returning on March 5th early. On the way up I'll be empty and towing nothing; on the way back I'll be towing an empty ammo trailer.
If I can haul anything for anyone else along that rather small route...
