The front piece on a real M60 is welded to the gun's gas tube.
The attached pictures are of the M60D (aircraft version) because it doesn't have hand guards, so you can see what we are talking about. Basically the same setup.
In the second picture, the part marked A is attached to the front...
Welcome back.
VXB is a cool vehicle, but suffered from a bit of bad timing. If I recall correctly, it came out just before Saviem/Renault took over Berliet, and they already had their VAB to market, so they dumped the VXB.
I hope you will forgive me taking the liberty, but here are your...
Sounds better than what I do.
I know people have looked at me and wondered what form of witchcraft I was performing, with the chopsticks duct-taped to my fingers (to hold down bulgy parts of the stencil while I spray).
Cheers
And enough vehicle to haul a particular trailer!
Judging by the marks on the road, it was a really exciting ride well before they ended up in the hedge!

It is when you are driving across it!
A good day in great company. I got my V parts (but no field desk!), GR got lots of other kinds of parts, we shared a good meal. All in all, a well spent afternoon.
Glad y'all got back safely. You are now fully conversant in what I warned you about, the...

Y'all keep this up, and I may have to swim mine one day. :)
Cheers

The likelihood of mine ever swimming again is pretty close to zero, I'm afraid, but...
Clinto, glad y'all got home safely. It was nice talking with y'all.
We stayed and watched the armour move out Sunday morning, to me that's a favourite part.
We rolled in to the Austin area around 12:30 this morning.
I've been to 9 conventions so far, enjoyed every single one of them. A lot...
It's been great so far. I haven't been to a convention yet that I didn't enjoy.
The only "bad" thing is that now I have gotten to know so many folks at these shows, I spend half my time visiting rather than digging through the vendors tables. ;)
Actually, maybe that's a good thing.
Gunnut...
Sitting here ready to go. Sam/Pawnshop will be picking me up in about 30 minutes. 20 minutes further up the road, we'll meet up with Scott/Reloader64 and get on the highway headed North.
With luck we'll be bedded down in Topeka by nightfall, and we'll have our noses pressed to the glass at...
