Huge decrease in interior racket and heat transfer.
I can hear the engine through the open window... not through my feet into my skull.
Also, no more heat radiating up from below when not wanted.

I just got these two books. Lots of good stuff covering pump tuning and stuff.
I just happened to have mine out.
It is indeed a 12x1.75x35mm with a hex head 22mm(7/8")
They are, however, slightly swaged into a triangular cross section that acts to lock them in place.
It may well be a common "seat belt bolt"
You might want to use locktite on any non-swaged replacements
I just got one roll of each as I was most interested in covering the front footwell that droned horrendously and the heat from the tunnel.
I layed the thinner peel and seal strips on the outer areas of the footwell. Three strips on each side used that whole roll.

The ones that I see on the market look cheese-ball. These are the only LED headlights that I like the look of.

Finally ran my new cold air setup(mil spec(?) AC filter w/pre-filter) on a thunder run down I-10 going to work yesterday. It "seemed" to make much better power past 55MPH. The best it ever did was 60 at the merge of a long uphill entrance ramp. Yesterday it was up to 70 and still gittin it...

Had time and motivation enough to install my ORD steering brace. Test drive tomorrow will tell if it improves the steering feel any or just wards off the crack gremlins
Whenever I weave up a new whole wiring harness, I find it helps bigly to have a 4x8 sheet of plywood and saw horses to lay out the old harness section and remove one wire at a time and recreate a new harness side by side.

The trays are original. The P.O. cut away most of the original huge hold down top brackets to just those two strips with some inner tube rubber isolators. They hold pretty good so I haven't messed with them...yet.
